Let’s talk about workouts, how often and how long.
A lot of people think that the more they workout
Or
The harder they go
Or
If they just keep moving for a larger amount of time.
They will be more likely to reach their goals.
This is not always the truth.
Actually, this will more likely lead to an injury.
You see, your body needs a certain amount of rest in order for you to continue to go.
Eventually your body will get rest, sometimes this in the form of an injury.
Unless you are a professional athlete, you only need 3 strength training sessions per week each one lasting about 45-60 minutes in length.
Then add in 10-15,000 steps per day.
That’s it!
So, if you find yourself constantly trying to workout and full of injuries, it’s time to back off.
Because.
The go, go, go mentality is a recipe for disaster.
If you feel you are in a go, go, go cycle, talk to your coaches and we can help you plan out a schedule that helps you keep your progress moving forward.
